The Project

Resilient Pathways brought together tribal health leaders, policymakers, and traditional healers to address a question with real stakes: how do indigenous communities integrate traditional healing practices into a Medicaid system not built for them?

The conference created space for that conversation — and Grain & Thunder was there to document it.

The Work

We covered the full conference from the ground up — interviews with keynote speakers and attendees, session coverage, and the connective tissue between. The goal was a recap that captured the weight of the subject without losing the humanity of the people driving it.

The resulting video works as a record for participants and as an introduction for anyone coming to this conversation for the first time.
